The Denver Broncos came from behind to defeat the Jacksonville Jaguars 21-17 in London. This was just the third win for Russell Wilson and company this year, which puts them at a disappointing 3-5. However, it was a well-earned and hard-fought victory for Denver.

The offense finally looked to be somewhat in sync as Wilson led a few brilliant scoring drives. This included the game winner with a little less than two minutes remaining in the half.

Russell Wilson has been obliterated by NFL fans for his play this season, not to mention his peculiar behavior and his incessant workouts on plane trips. However, the former Seattle Seahawks star has earned a brief respite from their ire.

Wilson's strange behavior, from standing in the middle of the field with his eyes closed pre-game to exercising on flights, has come under fire recently. When he was winning games in Seattle, it didn't matter all that much how he acted. But after struggling in Denver, he came under fire for those same things. Thanks to a key win, he's earned a bit of a break, but the question remains whether he will be able to keep it up for the rest of the season.

How did Russell Wilson and the Denver Broncos defeat the Jacksonville Jaguars?

While it did result in a win, Russell Wilson and company didn't play perfect football. An interception was the result of their first drive and they struggled through most of the first half.

The defense kept them alive and sealed the victory with two key interceptions. The first came with the Jaguars on the one-yard line and threatening to score. The other came immediately after the Broncos' go-ahead touchdown and effectively sealed the win.

Russell Wilson wasn't perfect, but recording 252 yards and a touchdown against one interception, especially with a win, is an improvement. The competition wasn't stiff as the loss puts the Jaguars at 2-6, but a win is a win. The Broncos have struggled to get those, so they'll take one in any form.

We will see if they can put together a string of victories in the coming weeks.
