#3 - Calvin Ridley to the Jacksonville Jaguars

In another shock move close to the deadline, the Atlanta Falcons dealt wideout Calvin Ridley to the Jacksonville Jaguars for a conditional second- and fifth-round draft pick.

The move shocked NFL fans as Ridley is currently serving a suspension for gambling offenses for the entire 2022-23 season. The draft pick conditions alter depending on a variety of factors. However, you have to question the Jags giving up so much draft capital for a player who can’t take the field until next season.

#2 - Zack Moss to the Indianapolis Colts

Right at the deadline, the Buffalo Bills shipped off running back Zack Moss and a conditional sixth-round pick for Nyheim Hines from the Indianapolis Colts.

This exchange makes the list as it seems the Bills have fleeced the Colts, who may now be in tank mode.

Moss was an afterthought for the Bills, having been relegated to third-string behind Devin Singletary and James Cook. Hines, meanwhile, was a mainstay in the Colts offense and is known as one of the better pass-catching backs in the NFL.

#1 - Chase Claypool to the Chicago Bears

No one doubted the Chicago Bears needed to get quarterback Justin Fields help. However, most fans were shocked when they gave up a second-round draft pick for Steelers wideout Chase Claypool.

Claypool was drafted by Pittsburgh in 2020 and had an excellent rookie campaign, catching nine touchdowns.

However, since then, he’s only caught three in two years and his production doesn’t merit the high draft pick Chicago has given up for him.
