The 2022 NFL trade deadline is nearly upon us, and moves are already starting to be made. In addition, rumors galore are flying around as the November 1 deadline nears.

Some big-name NFL players are included in the rumors, with several blockbuster moves potentially on the horizon. Let's look at 10 NFL players, in particular, who should be moved by the end of the month.

#10 - Kareem Hunt, RB, Cleveland Browns

The entire Cleveland Browns offense has struggled to get going with Jacoby Brissett at the helm. Kareem Hunt, in particular, has rarely been seen, which is true of the team's run game in general. He only has 66 carries in seven games, while Nick Chubb has 126. The dynamic duo NFL fans expected is not being used. It seems like a matter of compensation at this point for a deal to get done.

#9 - Sam Darnold, QB, Carolina Panthers

The Carolina Panthers are in such a bizarre spot at the moment. Head coach Matt Rhule was fired, only for the team to rally around Steve Wilks and win last week with P.J. Walker under center. Now, both Sam Darnold and Baker Mayfield are approaching returns. Darnold is likely the odd man out as he has been around longer. This means another NFL team may add him for depth as the Panthers look to dump him for any return possible.

#8 - Bradley Chubb, LB, Denver Broncos

Recent rumors point toward the Denver Broncos gearing up to move Bradley Chubb. The team is going in the wrong direction under Nathaniel Hackett. The franchise is now looking to regain some NFL Draft capital lost in the Russell Wilson deal. Chubb was the team's top pick in 2018 and made the Pro Bowl in 2020. However, he is on an expiring deal, and the team seems ready to move on.

That allows Chubb to get an audition elsewhere on a contending team and increase his earning power at a time when the Broncos seem stuck with their current unfortunate predicament.

#7 - Cam Akers, RB, Los Angeles Rams

Cam Akers has openly been involved in NFL trade rumors for weeks. That means the Los Angeles Rams are just waiting for a great deal to roll in. This may go up to the deadline as the Rams wait for the best offer for the 23-year-old who showed plenty of promise as a rookie in 2020.

#6 - Chase Claypool, WR, Pittsburgh Steelers

Chase Claypool is another player who has heavily featured in NFL trade rumors all month. The Pittsburgh Steelers are in a state of transition at quarterback, and thus as a franchise. Claypool has one year left on his rookie deal, which means he may demand more money this offseason. Given the Steelers' situation, a trade makes sense as they look to rebuild as fast as possible.

#5 - Brandin Cooks, WR, Houston Texans

The Houston Texans are a team stuck in a rebuilding phase. That means a veteran receiver like Brandin Cooks is no longer logically part of the franchise's plans. He is 29 years old, and a trade allows the Texans to continue rebuilding, even if a late-round pick is all they can get back in return.

#4 - Mike Gesicki, TE, Miami Dolphins

Mike Gesicki has been in NFL trade rumors since before the season even started. That is because he signed a franchise tag, seemingly indicating the Miami Dolphins were not interested in a long-term deal. He is not being heavily targeted this year, and the writing is on the wall for a departure. A trade makes sense just to clear up any distractions as Miami chases a playoff berth.

#3 - Jerry Jeudy, WR, Denver Broncos

The Broncos may be in full sell mode with a loss in London this Sunday. If so, Jerry Jeudy is a logical player to move. He is a former first-round pick in 2020 and only has 24 receptions so far in seven games. The beauty for his trade value is the fact he still has one more year on his rookie deal, followed by a fifth-year option. The Broncos can recoup several solid picks in a deal, while another team lands a player with first-round talent who can get work under a different set of coaches.

#2 - Matt Ryan, QB, Indianapolis Colts

Matt Ryan is in a rough spot with the Indianapolis Colts. He was just benched for Sam Ehlinger, effectively ending his career if he stays in Indy. The issue is that he has an $18 million dead cap hit in 2023. However, the Colts can take on an extra cost if they can just get him out and let Ehlinger move forward with an audition for a long-term role. Would anyone take Ryan? He may be an expensive backup, but depth is always key in the NFL.

#1 - Mitchell Trubisky, QB, Pittsburgh Steelers

Mitchell Trubisky is the second Steelers quarterback on this list, but for a reason. This is because the team is clearly set with Kenny Pickett, their 2022 first-round pick, as the starter moving forward. While the Steelers likely won't move both Trubisky and Rudolph, the former is a better candidate given his experience in the league.
