The 2022 NFL trade deadline is officially set for Tuesday, November 1st at 4:30 PM ET. That leaves all teams with just a couple of days to finalize any deals they have been working on to improve their rosters. The trade deadline is always one of the last opportunities to make a significant upgrade.

The Los Angeles Rams are one NFL team that could use some help at the 2022 NFL trade deadline. The defending Super Bowl champions from last year have really struggled during the 2022 NFL season. Here are three potential trade candidates that could help them turn things around this year as they look to get back in contention:

#1 - Alvin Kamara, New Orleans Saints

The New Orleans Saints have reportedly placed superstar running back Alvin Kamara on the trade block and are currently listening to offers. They are reportedly expecting to receive similar compensation to what the Carolina Panthers received for Christian McCaffrey. The San Francisco 49ers gave the Panthers a second-, third- and fourth-round pick in the 2023 NFL draft and a fifth-round pick in 2024.

The Rams are likely to be interested in upgrading their running back position at the 2022 NFL trade deadline. Kamara would provide them with the best opportunity to optimize the position with his dynamic dual-threat skillset. The Rams have been desperately looking to move on from Cam Akers as he is also being shopped in the trade market. Replacing him with Kamara would be an enormous upgrade.

#2 - Isaiah Wynn, New England Patriots

Isaiah Wynn is rumored to be available at the 2022 NFL trade deadline. He is currently playing in the final year of his contract with the New England Patriots. This situation often makes players trade candidates, which may be where the rumors came from.

If the Patriots do in fact move Wynn at the trade deadline, the Rams are definitely a potential landing spot. The Rams could use help on their offensive line that has severely struggled this season. Matthew Stafford has already been sacked 23 times entering Week 8, the fifth most in the entire NFL.

#3 - Bradley Chubb, Denver Broncos

The Denver Broncos are reportedly taking calls on star edge rusher Bradley Chubb. When they made Von Miller available last season, it was the Rams who made a big offer to acquire him. The two teams could hook up again this year.

The Rams have been unable to consistently get after opposing quarterbacks, despite having Aaron Donald on their defensive line. They rank just ninth in total team sacks entering Week 8. Chubb could potentially help elevate them to a Super Bowl caliber defense like Miller did for them last year.
