After seven months without a competitive football game, the 2024 NFL season is finally here, and Week 1 of the season has some exciting games.
Thursday, Sept. 5, marks the official start of the 2024 NFL season when the Kansas City Chiefs and Baltimore Ravens face off in a rematch of last season's AFC championship game at Arrowhead Stadium on Thursday Night Football. NBC and Peacock will broadcast the NFL Kickoff Game.
More Week 1 action has historically required fans to wait until the weekend of the first week after the Kickoff Game on Thursday. But with the Green Bay Packers and Philadelphia Eagles playing in Brazil on Friday of this year's opening week, the league is creating history.
This game is both the league's first Week 1 Friday night game in more than 50 years and its first regular season game played in South America.
