The waiver wire can be slim pickings on the best of days but there is one wide receiver you need to be paying attention to in the month of December, and that is Tennessee Titans playmaker Nick Westbrook-Ikhine.
For all intents and purposes, it appears Westbrook-Ikhine has the Midas touch. Nearly everything he touches turns into touchdowns. That may not be a formula for a dependable points-getter on your fantasy roster but hey, if you're looking at the waiver wire for a weekly performer, you might want to take another look at your roster.
Heading into Week 14 and with the fantasy football playoffs right around the corner, here's why you need to fire up your leagues and grab Nick Westbrook-Ikhine off the waiver wire.

Nick Westbrook-Ikhine waiver wire outlook for Week 14
Usually, we would throw some numbers at you highlighting how a player has flown under the radar and is primed to peak this week, or how the lead player at that position could have some injury niggles and you need to have insurance in case he goes down.
When it comes to Nick Westbrook-Ikhine, the only stat you need to know is that he has 8 touchdowns on 20 receptions. And those aren't fake numbers either. You can go check his game logs.
Westbrook-Ikhine's 8 TDs are tied for the most touchdowns on 20 or fewer receptions in the Super Bowl era. His eight TDs are also tied for 4th-most in the NFL. Only Ja'Marr Chase (13), Terry McLaurin (9), and Amon-Ra St. Brown (9) have racked up more tuddies than Mr. NWI.
Granted, he's playing in a stale Titans offense but given he didn't feature in the four games this year, those are impressive numbers. The DeAndre Hopkins trade also appears to have freed up more targets for Westbrook-Ikhine, who dropped a few passes in Week 13 but recovered to haul in two touchdowns against the Washington Commanders.
He has a pretty interesting matchup with the Jaguars in Week 14. Considering the Titans have been using him as a TD-and-first-down machine, you'd be wise to grab him off the waiver wire this week.
