Green Bay Packers head coach Matt LaFleur and quarterback Aaron Rodgers weren't too pleased following the team's Week 8 loss to the Buffalo Bills. It was Green Bay's fourth straight loss this year. In the 27-17 loss, LaFleur spoke to the media about rookie linebacker Quay Walker and his ejection from the game in the second quarter.

LaFleur said:

"I hope it's a good reminder for everybody on our football team because that's the kind of stuff that I have zero tolerance for. I can [tolerate] if mistakes are going to happen in this game. But losing your cool, losing your poise, putting the team in jeopardy... got no tolerance for that."

Rodgers commented after the Bills game that a win could help the Packers' momentum.

Rodgers said:

"Nobody feels sorry for us. We’ve got to find a way to get one win. I feel like if we can just get one, then the whole momentum changes."

Quay Walker pushed Bills tight end Zach Davidson and a coach on the sidelines after a play. The incident led to a 15-yard penalty for unsportsmanlike conduct and the ejection of the former Georgia Bulldogs star.

Aaron Rodgers and the Packers 2022-23 season thus far

The season started out ideal for the Packers, winning three of their first four games. After losing to the Minnesota Vikings in Week 1, Green Bay reeled off three straight wins. However, their last win came against the New England Patriots in Week 4 at Lambeau Field. They currently sit with a 3-5 record with more questions than answers.

Rodgers hasn't looked like the MVP-caliber player he's been the last four seasons. Thus far in the 2022-23 season, he hasn't thrown for 300 yards in a game. In the 2021-22 season, the reigning NFL MVP had four games with over 300 yards.

The 38-year-old has had two games this season with a passer rating of over 100. Last season, he had 11 games with a passer rating of over 100.

The last time the Packers lost four straight games under Rodgers was back in the 2016-17 season. He led them to six straight wins to end that season. Let's see if Green Bay have the same success and get back on the winning path this season.
