The Philadelphia Eagles had an excellent 2022 season but fell short of a Super Bowl title at the final hurdle against the Kansas City Chiefs. Nonetheless, Nick Sirianni's side will be looking to strengthen their squad in the offseason to push for glory in the 2023 campaign.

Former Texas Longhorns running back Bijan Robinson is regarded as one of the top prospects in the 2023 NFL draft. Interestingly, the 21-year-old has been linked with Philadelphia.

Robinson finished the 2022 season with 1,580 yards and 18 touchdowns on the ground in 258 attempts. He also added 314 receiving yards on 19 receptions with two touchdowns.

The running back has a muscled-up frame and has excellent acceleration. Additionally, Robinson is agile with exceptional change-of-direction skills. He is also able to maintain speed while turning the corner or changing directions.

However, Eagles general manager Howie Roseman doesn't seem to have a habit of picking running backs early in the draft. Since being promoted to the role in 2010, the 47-year-old has picked only one running back (Miles Sanders in the second round in 2019) before the fourth round.

But with Sanders also moving to the Carolina Panthers in the offseason, the Eagles are short on running backs. It would certainly be a wise decision to lure Robinson to Philadelphia as he is considered one of the best prospects in this year's draft.

Jalen Hurts led the Philadelphia Eagles to an excellent run in the 2022 regular season. They finished with a 14-3 record and the No.1 seed in the NFC.

The Eagles then trounced the New York Giants in the divisional round before getting the better of the San Francisco 49ers in the championship game.

However, Philadelphia suffered a narrow 38-35 defeat to the Kansas City Chiefs in the Super Bowl.
