Saquon Barkley continues his terrific first season with the Philadelphia Eagles, adding more numbers to the stat sheet and cementing his case as a serious candidate for the Offensive Player of the Year award and even the MVP. The former New York Giants running back has benefitted from having a solid offensive line and has taken over games more than once this campaign.
Barkley feasted against a weak Jaguars defense against the run and impacted the game both on air and on the ground. Once again he connected with Jalen Hurts but also took care of things with his spectacular rushes. The Eagles escaped with a 28-23 win against the Jaguars despite a late stop from Jacksonville's defense.
The Eagles' defensive unit responded with another big-time play to end their opponents' chances to win and give the Eagles the sixth win of the campaign.
This is how Barkley fared against the Jaguars in a close and entertaining matchup.
