Zach Charbonnet is the kind of player who makes fantasy managers shrug their heads whenever he is mentioned. After all, he has spent his career so far playing backup to Kenneth Walker III at the Seattle Seahawks.
But when he gets the chance to shine, he can make the most of it as seen when he overran the Miami Dolphins in Week 3 to the tune of 91 yards and two touchdowns. Will he be able to replicate such heroics against the Arizona Cardinals?

The answer to the question above is yes.
Even though Zach Charbonnet has had minimal yardage this season, he has been able to make the most of his opportunities, scoringt a healthy 112 fantasy points.
While the Cardinals have allowed only a 1,408 rushing yards and 12.2 fantasy points so far, good enough to make the top half of both charts, there is still the underlying notion that besides All-Pro/Pro Bowl safety Budda Baker, the team does not have much defensive depth.
Linebackers Zaven Collins, Kyzir White, and Mack Wilson, while good play-stoppers, have not been able maintain as consistent a level of excellent performance as they should be able to. That should afford an abundance of opportunities for Sportskeeda's RB33 to accumulate yards, if not touchdowns, when he does take to the field.
Zach Charbonnet fantasy outlook for rest of 2024 season
The Seahawks were very astute when they decided to use one of their 2023 second-round picks on a running back. In this current pass-happy era, having at least two running backs is always a good idea, even if they eat into each other's time and one of them eventually has to take precedence over the other(s) and become the (primary) starter.
One can never know when said starter gets hurt or struggles and/or starts to be surpassed, and this is the place that Zach Charbonnet finds himself in. While Walker is currently dominating the field, the sophomore is steadily creating his own niche in the roster.
Eventually, two-HB sets will become very appealing to coaches. And fantasy managers will follow suit. And it is only a matter of time before Charbonnet becomes a viable starter on one's squad.
