Stephen A. Smith believes Aaron Rodgers has his trade destination figured out

The Green Bay Packers and quarterback Aaron Rodgers will separate from one another this offseason as the four-time MVP is expected to be traded.

With Rodgers available, many QB-needy teams are interested and will inquire about acquiring him.

While he's been the No. 1 player this offseason linked to a trade, Rodgers has a preferred destination, according to ESPN analyst Stephen A. Smith.

Smith spoke about Rodgers wanting to reunite with his former All-Pro receiver, Davante Adams, in Las Vegas on First Take.

"I'm like, wait a minute," Smith said. "DaVante Adams goes out there for year. There isn't anybody in football that would ever dream of picking Derek Carr ahead of Aaron Rodgers. Derek Carr was approached in the last year of his deal before they could ultimately get rid of him. And then Rodgers can follow him to Vegas."

Smith said that Rodgers and Adams have been plotting to team up in Vegas:

"Now I'm not saying it's gonna happen because there has to be some capitulation on the part of the Green Bay Packers. But the fact that Aaron Rodgers has been talking like this, that tells me him and Davonte Adams had this in the works all along. Aaron Rodgers wants to be in Vegas. That's where he wants to be. Now. I don't know if it'll happen. But that's what I smell. I'm seeing it clearer now."

While many teams will be interested in Rodgers, the Raiders seem to be the most likely team he will be traded to.

Rodgers reportedly told his agent, David Dunn, that he prefers to be traded to the Raiders over the New York Jets, amid trade speculations.

Rodgers also told CBS reporter Amanda Balionis at the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am golf tournament this weekend that the predominant team he heard fans linking him to this weekend was the Raiders.

Davante Adams also liked a tweet that said Aaron Rodgers would be traded to the Raiders.

A fan also said that Adams was looking for a neighbor to Rodgers, and Rodgers responded by telling Adams to buy him a house.

The two could be reunited this offseason and could look at a Super Bowl run as members of the AFC.
