Tanner McKee enjoyed another impressive campaign with the Stanford Cardinal last season. The quarterback will now be hoping to hear his name being called out in the 2023 NFL draft.

Many analysts believe McKee will get picked in the third round of the draft.

There's some stiff competition among quarterbacks this year, with Bryce Young, C.J. Stroud, Anthony Richardson and Will Levis among the top-shelf picks. Hence, we don't expect McKee to crash the party in the first few rounds.

However, the 22-year-old is considered a second-tier quarterback. More so, McKee offers prototypical size and good arm talent to play the position at the NFL level.

The Cardinal star is at his most comfortable when he’s able to survey the field and play with rhythm. McKee also has enough arm strength to drive the ball down the field on deep-out or faded routes.

A number of NFL teams will be monitoring McKee in this year's draft. The Detroit Lions and Tampa Bay Buccaneers are reportedly looking to strengthen their quarterback department ahead of the 2023 season. McKee could be on their wishlist.
