As the Tennessee Titans focus on revamping their offensive line this offseason, they've made strategic moves to strengthen the line.

Following the release of left tackle Taylor Lewan, the Titans signed Andre Dillard to help fill the void. On the defensive side, they addressed a position of need by signing former Jacksonville Jaguars pass-rusher Arden Key.

Key notably has a history with new general manager Ran Carthon from their time together with the San Francisco 49ers.

Additionally, the Titans signed former Tampa Bay Buccaneers cornerback Sean Murphy-Bunting to bolster their league-worst passing defense from last season.

Tennessee Titans' Free Agency Signings

Sean Murphy-Bunting, CB

The Tennessee Titans have signed Sean Murphy-Bunting to a one-year deal in free agency. Murphy-Bunting will compete with Kristian Fulton and Roger McCreary for a starting spot in the secondary.

Although he has had some injury concerns, this low-cost, one-year contract provides him with an opportunity to compete for a starting position.

Arden Key, LB

Arden Key has signed a three-year, $21 million contract with the Titans, with $13 million guaranteed. Despite not being a full-time starter since his rookie season, Key has shown potential as a pass-rusher.

However, transitioning to an increased role with the Titans could be challenging for the relatively inexperienced player.

Andre Dillard, OT

The Titans have signed Andre Dillard to a three-year, $29 million deal. Dillard brings versatility to the offensive line with experience at both right and left tackle. However, his history of injuries and unproven track record as a starting tackle create some risks for the team.

Daniel Brunskill, G

Daniel Brunskill has agreed to a two-year deal with the Tennessee Titans. The versatile lineman started 17 games at right guard for the San Francisco 49ers in 2021 and is expected to compete for a starting position in Tennessee.

While Brunskill has had some success as a starter, relying solely on him as a starting right guard could be a gamble.

Azeez Al-Shaair, LB

The Titans have signed Azeez Al-Shaair to a two-year deal worth up to $6 million. Al-Shaair will provide a solid replacement for David Long Jr. and should perform well at inside linebacker alongside Monty Rice.

However, his injury history could be a concern for the Titans.

Luke Gifford, LB

Luke Gifford has agreed to a two-year deal worth up to $5 million with the Tennessee Titans. Gifford will provide depth at inside linebacker and contribute on special teams.

While he has limited experience on defense, his signing brings a veteran presence to the Titans' linebacker room.

Titans' Key Losses

The Tennessee Titans have seen significant departures from their roster, creating various needs to be addressed.

One of the most notable exits is left tackle Taylor Lewan, who has left a considerable gap on the offensive line. To counter this loss, the Titans have signed Andre Dillard, who is expected to step into Lewan's role, from the Philadelphia Eagles.

Another significant departure is linebacker Bud Dupree, who was released in a cost-cutting move. To fill the void left by Dupree, the Titans have brought in Arden Key to bolster their pass-rushing capabilities.

Additionally, the team has lost center Ben Jones, defensive end DeMarcus Walker, and wide receiver Robert Woods, creating needs at multiple positions.

The Titans have also experienced changes in their linebacker corps, with David Long Jr. agreeing to terms with the Miami Dolphins. To address this gap, they have signed Azeez Al-Shaair and Luke Gifford, both of whom are expected to compete for a starting spot alongside Monty Rice.

Tight end Austin Hooper's departure creates a need for depth at the position, which the Titans will likely address through free agency or their existing roster.

Lastly, the exit of right guard Nate Davis, who signed with the Chicago Bears via free agency, leaves a void on the offensive line. The Tennessee Titans have signed Daniel Brunskill to compete for the starting right guard position, adding depth and versatility to their line.

The team will continue to work on filling the gaps left by these departures, ensuring that they remain competitive in the upcoming season.
