Ahead of Titans' TNF matchup vs. Packers, remembering when Tom Brady routed Tennessee in massive 59-point win during blizzard

Ahead of their Thursday Night Football matchup versus the Green Bay Packers, the Tennessee Titans were apart of one of the biggest snowstorm games played in NFL history. Unfortunately, for them, they got blown out 59-0 and got embarrassed by the New England Patriots.

We all know that there's no such thing as NFL weather, especially later in the season when temperatures drop, wind speeds pick up, and potential snowstorms occur while games are being held.

The Tennessee Titans traveled to New England on October 18, 2009.

In the game, quarterback Tom Brady threw for 380 yards and six touchdowns passing, including five in the first quarter. Wide receiver Randy Moss recorded 129 receiving yards and three receiving touchdowns. Wes Welker had 150 yards and two touchdowns receptions. Running back Laurence Maroney recorded 123 rushing yards and a rushing touchdown.

The Titans struggled to get anything going on in the game and their passing game was non-existent. Quarterback Vince Young was 0/2 with an interception while Kerry Collins was 2/12 for negative sevens yards and two interceptions.

Running back Chris Johnson had 17 carries for 128 yards.

Tonight, they face the Green Bay Packers on the road at Lambeau Field. While there have been flurries in the forecast, it certainly won't be a snowstorm-like game. The temperatures are expected to be in the low-to mid 20s tonight, so the cold weather could still impact their play.

Like the Titans vs. Patriots game, the Buffalo Bills vs. Cleveland Browns game has the potential to be another snowy classic

While Thursday night's Titans-Packers game won't be played in blizzard-like conditions, the Buffalo Bills-Cleveland Browns game has the potential to be.

As of right now, forecasts are calling for a possible three-to-six feet of snow in Buffalo by Sunday. This forecast includes a possible thundersnow. The NFL is monitoring the situation and has until tomrrow to decide if the game will be moved out of Buffalo or not.

The last time the NFL was forced to move a game out of Buffalo was in 2014 when the Jets and Bills had to be relocated to Detroit on Monday Night Football.

There have been many classic NFL snow games, but this one could potentially be played elsewhere, which would leave NFL fans without a good classic snowy game.
