Tom Brady and Aaron Rodgers, two of the best quarterbacks to ever play the game of football, are struggling so far in the 2022 season. With the longevity and success rate of these two quarterbacks, the standards were always high. Of course, trades, injuries, and leaky defenses can hamper any Hall-of-Fame caliber quarterback.

That being said, the trolls did not hold back on NFL Twitter.

Win at all costs apparently includes family:

The number of upsets on Sunday can only be attributed to psychedelic shenanigans.

The next big reality TV show is out there somewhere.

Tom Brady, in particular, has taken the lead status of trolling targets due to a myriad of off-field and on-field things.

Mitch Trubisky and the Pittsburgh Steelers deserve a parade for their upset on Sunday.

Tom Brady and Aaron Rodgers look to right the ship despite rocky start

Two of the NFL’s star quarterbacks, Tom Brady and Aaron Rodgers, are navigating troubled waters in the early parts of the NFL regular season. Brady returned to a team dealing with Chris Godwin’s recovery from an ACL injury, new faces in the wide receiver room (Russell Gage and Julio Jones), the absence of BFF TE Rob Gronkowski, and a new head coach in Todd Bowles. The Buccaneers are still 3-3 and sit tied for first place in the NFC South as the other teams are also struggling to separate from the pack.

Rodgers, meanwhile, certainly looks like he misses longtime star receiver Davante Adams, who was traded to the Las Vegas Raiders in the offseason. The Packers are struggling to score as their dynamic running backs Aaron Jones and A.J. Dillon struggle to find consistency and an offensive groove. The Packers, like the Buccaneers, are sitting at 3-3. However, they are looking up at the 5-1 Minnesota Vikings in the NFC North. Although the gap is narrow, the Packers will want to gain ground in the standings before the Vikings continue to pull away.

It’s easy to point to Tom Brady and Aaron Rodgers’s advanced age as the culprits for their struggles, but as the season wears on, fans will see whether either or both quarterbacks can right the ship before their season sinks.
