Trey Palmer has been in the limelight for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers ahead of their Week 5 matchup against the Atlanta Falcons. The wideout suffered a concussion in Week 4 versus the Philadelphia Eagles and fantasy managers now want to know his status for Thursday night's game.
Trey Palmer injury update: What happened to Buccaneers WR?

As things stand, Trey Palmer will not play against the Falcons. Hence, fantasy managers should steer clear of picking him in Week 5.

Palmer did not practice in Tampa Bay's training sessions on Monday and Tuesday and was ruled out for the clash against Atlanta on Wednesday.
Palmer suffered the injury in the first half of the game on Sunday. He took a hit and it was later confirmed that he had a concussion, effectively ruling him out for the remainder of the contest. Palmer caught all his three targets for 26 yards and scored a touchdown before exiting the game.
The second-year player moved up the depth chart for the matchup against Philadelphia since Jalen McMillan (hamstring) was ruled out before game time.
In four appearances this season, Palmer has tallied 14.5 fantasy points, averaging 3.6 per game. Despite not being a heavily targeted player, he was able to make effective contributions to the team.
It remains to be seen when Palmer will return to action for Tampa Bay.
