Arthur Smith is no longer calling the shots with the Atlanta Falcons. That honor belongs to Raheem Morris. One major complaint fantasy players had with Smith last season was about how Tyler Allgeier was getting more snaps than anticipated, which led to Bijan Robinson's points taking a hit.
This year, Robinson profiles as the clear RB1. So, where does that leave Allgeier's fantasy outlook?
Tyler Allgeier's fantasy outlook for 2024
It's not looking good for the Falcons' deputy running back. Allgeier's stats made for impressive reading in his rookie season. He rushed for 1,035 yards, averaging 4.9 yards per carry. That number dipped to 683 yards and 3.7 yards per carry in Bijan Robinson's rookie season last year.

Is Tyler Allgeier a good pick in fantasy football?
Unless Bijan Robinson suffers a major injury, Allgeier's fantasy outlook makes for dismissive reading.
Allgeier's usage last year was down to Arthur Smith's decision making and the RB wasn't exactly a picture of efficiency either. Long story short, Tyler Allgeier probably isn't a good pick in fantasy this year.
Should you draft Tyler Allgeier in 2024?
The Cardinals RB2 features as RB43 on our fantasy football running back rankings for the season. You could probably use him as a handcuff RB, but that's about it.
In most fantasy drafts, he is more than likely to go undrafted. And if that's not enough, head coach Raheem Morris all but confirmed that Bijan Robinson will be Plan A at RB.
“In as simple of a form as you can possibly make it, it’s ‘get the ball to Bijan as much as you can in as many ideal situations that you possibly can,'" Morris said [via the Falcons' website].
At RB43, Allgeier has Ty Chandler, Chuba Hubbard and Rico Dowdle for company which isn't exactly inspiring. You could probably make a case to draft Dowdle but it's difficult to see Allgeier bringing any value to the table.
