Patrick Mahomes certainly enjoyed the Kansas City Chiefs Super Bowl parade. The quarterback was incredibly drunk during the celebrations, which is pretty understandable after such a long, hard season. But he might be regretting some of his actions today.
Mahomes had to be held by a senior offensive assistant and quarterbacks coach Matt Nagy to not fall for the team bus while chopping a bear. But a video surfaced today of a moment where he takes a selfie with a fan holding the Vince Lombardi Trophy, and then suddenly gives the trophy to the fan and leaves.
Clearly, the quarterback wasn't in his greatest state of mind on Wednesday. But who can blame him? It was his second NFL title and he had to mount a comeback again while playing hurt because of his ankle. He deserves time to enjoy himself before next season kicks in.

The Chiefs had to defeat one of the NFL's best rosters to grab another ring. The Kansas City defeated the Philadelphia Eagles 38-35 at the State Farm Stadium, closing the game with a field goal from Harrison Butker with eight seconds remaining. They had to make a comeback from a 24-14 deficit at halftime where Mahomes looked hurt.
The Eagles were favorites by just a point before the Super Bowl, so the matchup was absurdly even. It was the first time that the highest-seeded teams from each conference played in the Super Bowl. In 2017, Philadelphia won its first-ever NFL ring by upsetting the New England Patriots 41-33 in Super Bowl LII.
Mahomes continues to prove himself to be one of the greatest-ever quarterbacks in the league. The 27-year-old still has a lot of time to build on his legacy and add more rings to his cabinet. As long as he has Andy Reid as his head coach, he's likely to be one of the best quarterbacks in the NFL.
