Winning the waiver wire is a valuable strategy in fantasy football each season. Managers should regularly monitor all available players and target those who appear to be trending in the right direction. Injury situations and increased workloads are among the main reasons for an elevated player value in a particular week. Here are some running backs to target in Week 11 of the 2024 seaosn.

#1 - Jaylen Warren

Jaylen Warren had a breakout fantasy football season last year with the Pittsburgh Steelers, finishing as the overall RB25. He has been much less productive this season, but he has increased his output in recent weeks.

He has set season-highs in touches in each of his past three games and finished as the weekly RB38 or better in all three of them. If he can continue to cut into Najee Harris' workload, Warren could be a valuable addition for the stretch run of the 2024 season.

#2 - Audric Estime

Audric Estime was drafted by the Denver Broncos this year, but has been lightly used for most of the season. He totaled just 15 carries across the first nine weeks but nearly doubled that in his most recent game with 14 carries. He also played in 45% of the snaps after previously failing to eclipse 10% in any other game, which may signal that the Broncos plan on giving him more work over Javonte Williams going forward.

#3 - Austin Ekeler

Ausitn Ekeler has been given an opportunity to serve as the starting running back for the Washington Commanders in each of their past two games with Brian Robinson Jr. injured. He has responded by finishing among the top 15 weekly running backs in both of those games. He is an intriguing waiver wire target this week and could have earned himself more work even when Robinson returns.

#4 - Rico Dowdle

Rico Dowdle has been quietly solid for the Dallas Cowboys this season, currently ranking as the overall RB33 in fantasy football. With Dak Prescott out with an injury, Dowdle could see additional touches, especially considering he has received 32 of them across his past two games. His offensive situation makes him a solid addition off of the Week 11 waiver wire.

#5 - Tyjae Spears

Tyjae Spears set a season-high last week by playing in 46% of the offensive snaps for the Ternnessee Titans after missing the past three weeks with an injury. He responded by totaling 51 scrimmage yards on 10 touches in a split-backfield role with Tony Pollard. This may be a formula that the Titans continue this year, so Spears makes sense as a speculative add from the waiver wire in Week 11 fantasy football.
