If making the playoffs is still the Miami Dolphins' objective, they cannot afford to drop any more games this season. However, Sunday's game against the Houston Texans will likely be their most challenging obstacle.

The Fins' 4-1 record over the previous five weeks already indicates that they are committed to continuing to aim for a late playoff qualification. Their only defeat in that span came on Thanksgiving Day, against the Green Bay Packers.

Even with their recent success, the Dolphins are still two games behind the Denver Broncos, who currently hold the final playoff position in the AFC, going into Week 15.

They will be looking to keep up the pressure with some of the teams above them in the standings with a win on Sunday.

Here's a closer look at which key players they could have available for the game.

Dolphins' injury report for Week 15

Luckily for the Miami Dolphins, several key players who appeared on their injury reports on Wednesday and Thursday were taken off the list on Friday, indicating that they should be available against the Texans on Sunday.

Some of the key players who were taken off the injury report on Friday are running back Raheem Mostert (hip), linebacker Jordyn Brooks (ribs), wide receiver Jaylen Waddle (hamstring) and fullback Alec Ingold (ankle).

The only player the team ruled out for Week 15 on its final injury report is wide receiver Dee Eskridge, who sustained a knee injury in last week's win over the New York Jets.

Additionally, Terron Armstead (knee) is not expected to be available on Sunday after he was designated as "doubtful" on Miami's final injury report.

Another one of the team's tackles, Kendall Lamm, is dealing with a back problem and didn't practice until Friday, when he logged a limited participation. He was subsequently given a questionable tag on the final report, along with LS Blake Ferguson (illness), OLB Bradley Chubb (knee), OLB Cameron Goode (knee) and WR Grant DuBose (shoulder).

Terron Armstead's injury update

Offensive tackle Terron Armstead has been dealing with a knee problem for a while, but he has been able to play through the injury, even with minimal practice reps.

However, it appears Armstead's ankle injury got worse this week as he's not likely to play on Sunday against the Texans after the Dolphins gave him a doubtful designation on their final injury report.

Patrick Paul is expected to be the one starting in the veteran left tackle's place at NRG Stadium.

Kendall Lamm's injury update

Although Kendall Lamm has done a good job covering for injured offensive tackle Austin Jackson, his availability for Sunday's game is in question due to an injury of his own.

Lamm is dealing with a back injury that saw him miss practice sessions on Wednesday and Thursday. Although he returned to the practice field in a limited capacity on Friday, it's not likely he will play against Houston.

The team may have to use Jackson Carman to fill in at right tackle if Lamm is sidelined by the injury.

Raheem Mostert's injury update

The running back has dealt with several injuries this season. At first, he missed three games because of a chest issue early in the season. Mostert's most recent injury is to his hip, an issue that saw him inactive in the Week 14 game against the New York Jets.

Mostert started the week with two limited practice participations, but he has now been cleared to play this week after being a full participant in Friday's session.
