Finding trade targets in fantasy football is one of the best ways to improve a roster during the course of a season. Trade values often change each week based on several factors, including recent performances and injury situations. Here are some players to buy low and sell high entering Week 3 of the 2024 season.
Fantasy Football Buy Low Sell High candidates for Week 3

Buy low prospects
#1 - Braelon Allen

Braelon Allen capitalized on his opportunity for more playing time last week, finishing as the weekly RB7 in fantasy football. He did so by scoring two touchdowns and nearly doubling his snap percentage. While Breece Hall is locked in as the New York Jets' starter, Allen may have earned himself a larger workload going forward.
#2 - Travis Kelce
Travis Kelce is off to an extremely disappointing start to the 2024 fantasy football season. He has totaled just four receptions for 39 yards, making him an ideal buy-low candidate. He has finished each of the past 10 seasons ranked among the top eight tight ends, including top-three finishes in each of the past eight years, so his probability of bouncing back is high.
#3 - Brandon Aiyuk
Brandon Aiyuk has struggled through the first two weeks of the season as he ranks as just the WR60 so far. His limited offseason activity amid a contract dispute is likely one of the reasons why. He should be expected to get back on track at some point and that could come in Week 3 after Deebo Samuel has been ruled out with an injury.
Sell high prospects
#1 - Jordan Mason
Jordan Mason has been sensational in filling in for Christian McCaffrey as the San Francisco 49ers' starting running back. He currently ranks as the overall RB6 through the first two weeks of the season. The issue is that McCaffrey is expected to return in the coming weeks, so it makes sense to cash in on Mason in the trade market before he loses nearly all of his fantasy value.
#2 - Tyreek Hill
Tyreek Hill has been one of the most consistently dominant fantasy football wide receivers, finishing among the top eight players in his position in six of the past seven seasons. His fantasy outlook recently took a hit when Tua Tagovailoa was placed on the injured reserve list. It's unclear how productive the superstar will be in his quarterback's absence, so trading Hill for a haul makes sense.
#3 - Alvin Kamara
Alvin Kamara currently ranks as the overall RB1 this season after exploding for four touchdowns last week. While he makes for a solid running back for the remainder of the year, he's likely at his highest possible fantasy football value right now. This makes him an ideal sell-high candidate as managers should look to capitalize on the opportunity to flip a player before their numbers regress.
