Week 7 has arrived as one-third of the 2024 NFL season is in the books. Each division is starting to take shape as all teams make their push toward the NFL Playoffs. Some of the standings may be a bit surprising at this point in the season, as well as some of the statistical leaders. Here's how they all currently stack up.

With the first six weeks of the 2024 NFL season concluded, just two undefeated teams remain, with one in each conference. The Minnestoa Vikings represent the NFC, while the Kansas City Chiefs are the only unbeaten team in the AFC. No winless teams remain as every team has earned at least one victory.

The Chiefs have won each of the past two Super Bowls, so their undefeated record is not particularly surprising. The Vikings are a much different story as they have been one of the most surprising teams this yea. They are playing with a backup quarterback in Sam Darnold and enetered the season as just a borderline playoff contender.

The statistical leaders in several categories entering Week 7 of the 2024 season are a bit shocking. Allen Lazard is certainly one of the surprising names to see as he is currently tied for the most receiving touchdowns this season. Geno Smith is another one as he currently leads all players in passing yards through six games.

Some of the other players leading their stat categories so far aren't as surprising, including Derrick Henry. The superstar running back leads all players in rushing yards and touchdowns as he is having another dominant season, despite switching teams during the offseason.

Josh Allen is another star worth mentioning as he is having an MVP-caliber year. He is currently listed as the second-favorite to win the award, trailing only Patrick Mahomes. Allen ranks fifth among quarterbacks in passing touchdowns and second in rushing touchdowns on his way to having the Buffalo Bills sit firmly on top of their divisional standings.
