Jordan Love sounded the alarms for the Green Bay Packers during Sunday's game against the Jacksonville Jaguars. An opposing defender bumped the young quarterback, resulting in his falling and an injury scare. He was pulled from the game after being visibly in pain, with Malik Willis taking over for the rest of the game.
After the Packers secured the 30-27 win, coach Matt LaFleur said there was 'a high level of concern' regarding a potential serious groin injury for Love. NFL insider Ian Rapoport reported:

However, Rapoport said Love's MRI revealed promising updates for the quarterback. He suffered a strained groin and is expected to get better by the day, as the team monitors this situation throughout the week.

Jordan Love left the game having completed 14 of his 22 pass attempts for 196 yards. He was intercepted once and threw no touchdowns. Malik Willis completed four of five attempts for 56 yards and one touchdown.
Josh Jacobs stole the show for the Packers on Sunday, carrying the ball 25 times for 127 yards and two touchdowns. Tucker Kraft added one receiving touchdown from Willis.
Jordan Love suffered concerning injury to start the season
This isn't the first time Jordan Love worried fans in 2024. The quarterback was injured in one of the last plays against the Philadelphia Eagles in the season opener. He picked up an MCL sprain expected to recover in three to six weeks.
Love returned on Oct. 6 against the LA Rams and came back stronger than before, leading the team to a 24-19 win with two touchdowns and 224 passing yards.
The Packers since beat the Cardinals 34-13 with Love throwing a whopping four touchdowns, the Texans 24-22 with three touchdowns from Love, and the Jaguars on Sunday, but he wasn't able to find the end zone.
In five games this season, Jordan Love has thrown for 1,547 yards and 15 touchdowns. The week has just begun and the Packers will have a clearer picture of Love's status for gameday. They face the Detroit Lions in Week 9 and having Love on the field will be crucial. The NFC North has four teams with positive records and the Packers and Lions are going toe-to-toe for the top spot.
