Antonio Brown and Tom Brady have had one of the more interesting relationships since Brown last played in the NFL. The former Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver was cut last season after his abrupt exit from their game against the New York Jets. Brady was one of the first to wish him well following his release. Brown has now shared that personal message sent to him by the quarterback.

Part of that genuine message started out with comments about resilience and the quarterback being accessible to Brown.

The message said:

"You have a chip on your shoulder and the mental/emotional ultimately defines the best of us. I face it a lot. Why are people so critical and hating? Why is it fair? I believe it's because I/we handle it although it's hard. The resilience will be tested every day. Don't give in. You can handle it. And when you aren't feeling great, call me."

Brown and Brady first became teammates when Brown joined the New England Patriots in the 2019 season. However, he played in just one game (in Week 2) before the Patriots released him.

In October 2020, the free-agent wideout joined the Buccaneers after serving an eight-game suspension from the league for multiple violations of the league's personal-conduct policy.

Brown won his first Super Bowl that season while catching a touchdown in the game. The four-time All-Pro then played in seven games in his final season (2021) with Tampa Bay before his release.

Since then, the former NFL wideout has been trolling Brady and his now ex-wife, Gisele Bundchen. Brown posted various photos of himself with Bundchen on social media, including a very provocative one of the supermodel on his Snapchat. Brown recently had some words about him going after Brady.

Antonio Brown and his recent comments about Tom Brady

Antonio Brown was very critical of Brady in an interview in October when Brady was still married to Gisele Bundchen. Patrick Bet-David asked why Brown was selling T-shirts with the word "Boomin" on them and pictures of him with Bunchden on them.

“I don’t know his gir. l… It’s a T-shirt to raise money from a real moment that happened. How is this a reach? Because they’re going through a divorce? People go through stuff every day, man. What about me when I’m on the news for … I’m crazy, something happened?”

Bet-David then cut in to note that Brown is impacting Bundchen and her kids with Tom Brady due to his actions.

“It is what it is, man," Brown responded.

Either way, we'll see if the relationship changes between Antonio Brown and Brady.
