The NFL regular season has come to an end and with that, the performances of all the rookie players have been recorded and analyzed. While some rookies have made it to the playoffs with their teams showing great effort, some have ended the season with disappointing results.

The 2022-23 NFL Rookie of the Year will be announced during the league’s annual awards show on the weekend of the Super Bowl, February 11th. The award is given based on the rookie's performance in the regular season.

Rookies such as RB Kenneth Walker, QB Brock Prudy, WR Garrett Wilson, and WR Chris Olave were able to impress everyone in their first professional season. However, there are promising rookies who have disappointed the most.

The Atlanta Falcons selected Troy Andersen as the 59th overall pick in the second round of the 2022 draft. Andersen played college football at Montana State from 2017 to 2021. He played quarterback, running back, and fullback for them before moving to linebacker.

He was named a first-team all-conference after finishing his junior year with 54 tackles, 11.5 for loss, and 6.5 sacks with one interception and five passes broken up.

As a rookie this season, he started in 17 games and started in five of them with 69 tackles, one forced fumble, 5 pressures, and allowed a pass completion rate of 98.5%.

Logan Hall is the defensive end for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The Buccaneers drafted Logan Hall in the second round (33rd overall) of the 2022 draft. Hall has a promising career ahead of him, but his first season was nothing more than a disappointment.

He did not start any games and ended the regular season with 2.5 sacks, 12 tackles, and 6 quarterback hits.

He played college football for the Houston Cougars. He finished the 2021 season with the Cougars with 6 sacks and 24 tackles in 12 games.

Kenyon Green is an American football guard for the Houston Texans. The Texans drafted him as the 15th overall pick in the first round of the 2022 draft. Green started 14 games and allowed 43 pressure and 4 sacks on 481 pass snaps.

Green played college football at Texas A&M and was named Texas A&M's starting right guard going into his freshman season. As a sophomore, Green moved to left guard and started all nine of the Aggies games and was named a first-team All-American. As a junior, Green received first-team All-America honors.

He did not play his senior year as he decided to enter the 2022 draft.

Devin Lloyd is the linebacker for the Jacksonville Jaguars. The Jaguars drafted him in the first round of the 2022 draft. In his first season, he had 115 tackles, three interceptions, and two quarterback hits in 17 games.

He attended the Utah Utes from 2018 to 2021. In his four-year college career, he recorded 150 tackles, 15.5 sacks, 2 forced fumbles, 8 passes defended, and 5 interceptions.
