Andy Reid's Kansas City Chiefs are in the hunt for glory this season. The head coach has done another fine job and led the franchise to another AFC Championship game.

With a spot in the Super Bowl at stake, there is very little margin for error when the Chiefs take on the Cincinnati Bengals on Sunday. Amid the highly anticipated AFC title game, fans have been curious to learn more about Reid's personal life, including his wife Tammy.

While Andy Reid has been coaching in the NFL since 1992, Tammy has been with him throughout his incredible journey. The couple first met in 1981 when they went to BYU, Utah, and graduated together. They tied the knot later that year in August.

According to reports, Tammy and Andy met during a PE class when the former was interested in taking a tennis lesson. Andy, on the other hand, was keen to learn more about the sport.

The two then grew close in college and played many sports together, including tennis, badminton, and racquetball. With a lot of common interests, they began dating and got serious pretty quickly.

Tammy studied physics in college at the same time Andy was majoring in PE. She later worked as a teacher for a few years after her marriage.

After the Chiefs won the Super Bowl in 2020, Andy Reid credited Tammy for being by his side through thick and thin.

The couple have five children together named Britt, Spencer, Crosby, Garrett, and Drew Ann. Sadly, Garrett died due to a heroin overdose in 2012.
