DeVonta Smith went to college in Alabama, where as a senior in 2020, he amassed over 1,800 yards and 23 scores. While at Alabama, he also won two national championships. He was selected in the first round by the Philadelphia Eagles in 2021.

Along the way, Smith won numerous prestigious college football honors. He won the Heisman Trophy, was voted the SEC offensive player of the year, and was the offensive MVP in the CFP championship game. He received the Heisman Trophy in 2020, making him the fourth receiver to achieve it.
