The New York Jets will travel to face the Seattle Seahawks at Lumen Field in Week 17. However, there have been doubts over who will start at quarterback for the visiting side.

The Jets will start Mike White against the Seahawks in Sunday's contest. The 27-year-old missed the last two games for New York due to a fractured rib. He will replace Zach Wilson, who failed to impress despite being given a lifeline amid White's injury.

White received his medical clearance on Monday and practiced fully with the Jets during the week. He will now take center stage as the Jets aim to make a late push for the playoffs.

New York's offense has looked its best in the three games that Mike White has started this season. He has managed 952 passing yards and four touchdowns in total while showing a number of leadership qualities.

Wilson, on the other hand, has struggled to get to grips with his job this season. The 23-year-old endured another torrid night in the Week 16 defeat to the Jacksonville Jaguars. Wilson completed just nine of 18 passes for 92 yards with one interception. He was booed by the Jets faithful before eventually being benched.

Following their matchup against the Seahawks, the New York Jets will finish their regular season with another trip to face the Miami Dolphins. The Jets need to win both of their remaining matchups if they are to stand a chance of making it to the postseason.

Robert Saleh's side is currently fourth in the AFC East with a 7-8 record. The Jets have lost four straight games since Week 12. They will still have to depend on other results for their qualification into the playoffs, but stranger things have happened in the past. For now, the New York outfit needs to focus on getting the win against Seattle.
