The Packers vs. Dolphins Thanksgiving Day game at Lambeau Field on Thursday night will be called by the following officials:

Shawn Smith started his NFL officiating career in 2015 as an umpire before being promoted to referee for the 2018 campaign.

Smith will referee Green Bay's game for the first time since 2022 during today's Thanksgiving Day game. His last game in charge of a game involving the Packers came in November 2022, a game the team lost 40-33 to the Philadelphia Eagles.

In addition, this will be the first time the head referee will oversee a Miami Dolphins game since their 24-17 win over the New England Patriots in Week 2 of last season.

Smith and his officiating crew are ninth in the NFL, with an average of 15 flags thrown per game this season.

The last time the crew officiated an NFL game was at Arrowhead Stadium in Week 12. Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs defeated the Carolina Panthers 30–27 in that game. The Chiefs were on the receiving end of 10 of the 19 penalties during the game, while the Panthers had nine.
