The Texans enter this game on the back of a 23-20 divisional win over the Indianapolis Colts. They bounced back well after suffering a 24-22 loss against the Green Bay Packers in Week 7.

Houston is currently at the summit of the AFC South and looks the early favorite to clinch the division. The Texans, led by quarterback C.J. Stroud, will want to put another dent in the Jets' season on Thursday.

The Jets have been one of the most underwhelming teams this season, despite having four-time MVP quarterback Aaron Rodgers leading their offense. New York is at the bottom of the AFC East and on a five-game losing streak.

While the Jets still have an outside chance of reaching the playoffs, they will first want to quell their dismal losing run when they host the Texans on Thursday night.
