New England Patriots beat Cleveland Browns 45-7

The New England Patriots dismantled the Cleveland Browns 45-7 to register their fourth straight win.

The Browns took the lead in the game, courtesy of a fourth-and-goal conversion from Baker Mayfield, but it was all New England post that, as they scored 45 unanswered points. Quarterback Baker Mayfield had to exit the game with an injury, but he did say after the game that his ailment was not much to worry about and he expects to play next week.

Among AFC teams, only the Tennessee Titans have won more games than the Patriots this season. Head coach Bill Belichick and his team are a force to be reckoned with.

New England Patriots' top performers:

  • QB Mac Jones - 19/23, 198 yards, 3 TDs
  • RB Rhamondre Stevenson - 20 carries, 100 yards, 2 TDs
  • WR Kendrick Bourne - 4 catches, 98 yards, 1 TD

Dallas Cowboys beat the Atlanta Falcons 43-3

Questions were asked of the Dallas Cowboys' credentials as Super Bowl contenders after their defeat last week against the Denver Broncos. The team laid them all to rest with an emphatic 43-3 victory over the Atlanta Falcons.

The Falcons' offense was completely stifled by a spirited Cowboys defense. Matt Ryan was limited to just 117 yards and he also tossed two interceptions. Josh Rosen came in late in the game and had as many completions as interceptions. The Cowboys are 7-2 and in the mix to be the NFC's #1 seed in the NFL playoffs.

Dallas Cowboys' top performers:

  • QB Dak Prescott - 24/31, 296 yards, 2 TDs
  • WR CeeDee Lamb - 6 receptions, 94 yards, 2 TDs
  • RB Ezekiel Elliot - 14 carries, 41 yards, 2 TDs

The Carolina Panthers beat Arizona Cardinals 34-10

The Arizona Cardinals were without Kyler Murray and DeAndre Hopkins for the second game running, and the Carolina Panthers took full advantage, winning 34-10.

It was a happy return for the Panthers' former franchise quarterback Cam Newton, who threw and rushed for a touchdown in his first game since being released by the Patriots. The Cardinals are still 8-2 and should have Murray and Hopkins back next week.

Carolina Panthers' top performers:

  • QB Cam Newton - 3/4, 8 yards, 1 TD, 3 carries, 14 yards, 1 rushing TD
  • RB Christian McCaffrey - 13 carries, 95 rushing yards, 10 catches, 66 receiving yards

Minnesota Vikings beat Los Angeles Chargers 27-20

The Minnesota Vikings secured a much-needed victory over the Los Angeles Chargers.

The Vikings' defense was particularly good and held quarterback Justin Herbert to just 195 yards. The Chargers couldn't get the ground game going either, in what was an all-around disappointing day for the home team.

Minnesota can enjoy the win for now, but they soon have to start preparing for their next game: a divisional battle against the Green Bay Packers.

Minnesota Vikings' top performers:

  • QB Kirk Cousins - 25/37, 294 yards, 2 TDs
  • RB Dalvin Cook - 24 carries, 94 yards, 1 TD
  • WR Justin Jefferson - 9 catches, 143 yards

The Green Bay Packers beat Seattle Seahawks 16-0

The Green Bay Packers welcomed back quarterback Aaron Rodgers after he missed last week's trip to Kansas City due to COVID-19. He was gifted with the Packers' defense shutting out the Seahawks offense, a first for Russell Wilson, who also made his return to the field after missing a few games due to injury.

The Seahawks have now slipped to 3-6 and are well off the pace in the hunt for a place in the NFL playoffs.

Green Bay Packers' top performers:

  • QB Aaron Rodgers - 23/37, 292 yards
  • RB AJ Dillon - 21 carries, 66 yards, 2 TDs
  • WR Davante Adams - 7 catches, 78 yards

The Philadelphia Eagles beat Denver Broncos 30-13

After enjoying the high of beating the Dallas Cowboys in NFL Week 9, the Denver Broncos were given a taste of reality at Mile High by the Philadelphia Eagles.

The Broncos' defense tried to keep their team in the game, but some bad turnovers and poor play overall from their offense ensured they dropped to 5-5. The Eagles were outstanding on the day and thoroughly deserved their win.

Philadelphia Eagles' top performers:

  • QB Jalen Hurts - 16/23, 178 yards, 2 TDs
  • RB Jordan Howard - 12 carries, 83 yards
  • WR DeVonta Smith - 4 catches, 66 yards, 2 TDs

The Kansas City Chiefs beat Las Vegas Raiders 41-14

In the main event on Sunday Night Football, Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs announced their return to form in grand style, trouncing the Las Vegas Raiders 41-14.

The Chiefs defense suffocated Derek Carr for time and Raiders receivers for space throughout the game. Their offense was unstoppable, as Mahomes, Tyreek Hill and Travis Kelce all delivered on the night. The Chiefs have now gone from bottom to top of the AFC West in the space of two weeks.

Kansas City Chiefs' top performers:

  • QB Patrick Mahomes - 35/50, 405 yards, 5 TDs
  • WR Tyreek Hill - 7 catches, 83 yards, 2 TDs
  • TE Travis Kelce - 8 catches, 119 yards, 1 TD
