Aaron Rodgers always finds a way to stay in the news, whether he is playing or not. While much of the talk has been about whether he will continue playing football, and if he does, whether it will be in Green Bay, the Packers quarterback has made ripples with his thoughts on some other topics as well.

While we await news on his future plans, in what has become a recurring NFL offseason soap opera, he has been hitting the airwaves with some pretty interesting thoughts. Of course, he told the world that he was going on a darkness retreat to gather his thoughts. That was unusual in and of itself, though one might understand that as an elite player, he might have a different routine than us.

But had he left it at that, it would have been bizarre enough. Instead, he got into various theories. One of them included a Jeffrey Epstein list being released, saying that the balloons being shot down as UFOs were primarily a distraction.

He also touched on his use of Ayahuasca and said that it is not a drug. He elaborated that using such a tag on the herb seems unfair when we associate other food products, like high sugar items, with positive reinforcements like sweetness. From darkness retreats to using recreational Ayahuasca, Aaron Rodgers seems to be having a great time living a highly unusual lifestyle.

Aaron Rodgers' darkness retreat has Reddit fans piling on the former MVP

While Aaron Rodgers does not seem to be one to let external opinions ruffle him, that did not stop fans from piling on his choice of meditation. The quarterback has now exited the facility, but here are some Reddit posts that he might not like to read when he reconnects with the world.

Now that it is said and done, what is now awaited is Aaron Rodgers' final decision regarding playing football in the upcoming season. The other part of the equation is obviously whether the Green Bay Packers still want to retain him or not.

Jordan Love has now been waiting in the wings for three years. He has had the same internship period behind Aaron Rodgers, with Rodgers himself behind Brett Favre.

However, there is always another scenario where Jordan Love might never reach the level that Aaron Rodgers has. They can look to the New England Patriots, where they might have drafted Jimmy Garoppolo with Tom Brady still around. But they eventually decided to stick with the GOAT because, as good as Garoppolo was, Brady was just better.

There have been conflicting reports about the Green Bay Packers' position on their quarterback. Some reports have suggested that they are ready to move on from him and have seen enough of Jordan Love to trust him.

Other reports suggest that the Packers would be happy to have him back in Green Bay. In fact, it even goes as far as to say that no ultimatum has been given to Aaron Rodgers, and they are giving him leeway in deciding his own future. If so, then they will have to discuss with Jordan Love because it is unlikely he will stay back without significant playing time.

Beyond all the drama and the unlikely pronouncements from Aaron Rodgers on a regular basis, he remains a very good quarterback. He is just one season removed from winning consecutive MVP awards. Barring injury this season, he may have even replicated his success this season too. Many teams would gladly have him if the Packers did not want him, with the Las Vegas Raiders and the New York Jets reported to be leading the way.
