Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Gardner Minshew showed up to spring practice earlier this year with an unusual type of transportation. During the offseason, the quarterback purchased an old prison bus and lived in it. He parked the bus outside the gym where he trains in Florida.When it came time to head north to Philadelphia, the team accommodated his vehicle and allowed him to park it outside of NovaCare, their training facility.During training camp, video of Minshew exiting the bus before practice made its rounds on social media. He said at the time that he purchased the former prison transport vehicle, did a little DIY work on it and then lived in it. He was planning on selling it at the time. He, however, is no longer living in it and has moved but the bus is stationary. He has yet to sell it as of yet, but one could imagine that it would sell for a good amount of money. He was 1-1 in those two starts, and has made just two appearances this season.He was drafted by the Jacksonville Jaguars in the sixth round of the 2019 NFL Draft and was named the starter after Nick Foles was injured. Starting 12 games in his rookie season, he went 6-6 and threw for 3,271 passing yards and 21 touchdowns. He did endure injuries his second season and started just eight games with a poor 1-7 record. He was traded to the Eagles in August 2021 in exchange for a sixth-round draft pick.
