The Jacksonville Jaguars finally picked up their second win of the season after a prolonged stay in London when they beat the New England Patriots 32-16 last week. While that win was convincing enough for head coach Doug Pederson to keep his job, the Week 8 game against the Green Bay Packers could be different gravy. And it appears the Jaguars could be a little shorthanded in the running back room as they prep for Week 8.
On Saturday night, NFL Network insider Ian Rapoport delivered a somewhat dispiriting update on lead running back Travis Etienne Jr. who has been nursing a hamstring injury.

Is Travis Etienne Jr. playing today vs Packers?
There was a lot of optimism around Etienne Jr this week especially after he missed the game against the Patriots in London.
However, despite being a limited participant in practice all week with a hamstring injury, we won't see Etienne Jr. suit up against the Packers at the EverBank Stadium in Jacksonville.
Since Etienne is absent, Tank Bigsby will take over lead running back duties. Bigsby impressed in the Week 7 win over New England, racking up a career-high 118 yards on 26 rushing attempts with two touchdowns to cap off an eventful afternoon.
Jacksonville Jaguars injury report for Week 8
Tight end Evan Engram is expected to play despite nursing a hamstring injury. Engram was a limited participant on Wednesday but was good to go over the next few days. Expect Engram to be a smash hit in fantasy football this week.
Wide receiver Gabe Davis has been a concern all week with a knee injury but is expected to get the green light to face Green Bay whereas defensive end Arik Armstead is also expected to suit up.
