As things stand, Will Levis is questionable to face the Lions in Week 8. The quarterback was a limited participant in practice on Wednesday and Thursday.
Since Levis is still not yet cleared to take part in full practice this week, fantasy managers should avoid drafting him for Week 8. The Titans will have another practice session on Friday and those who are still interested in picking the quarterback should monitor his status closely.
Levis injured the AC joint in his throwing shoulder in Tennessee's Week 4 win over the Miami Dolphins when he dove for a first down and landed awkwardly. He exited in the first quarter and did not return.
The Titans had a bye in Week 5, which allowed Levis time to recover. He returned to start for the team in its Week 6 loss against the Indianapolis Colts, where he re-aggravated the injury. It was later confirmed that the quarterback suffered a grade 2 AC sprain in his right shoulder, which takes three to four weeks for a player to recover.
Levis was then subsequently ruled out of the Week 7 game against the Buffalo Bills. Mason Rudolph was given the nod to lead Tennessee's offense.
Now, it remains to be seen whether Levis has recovered in time to face the Lions.
Levis has completed 83 of 125 passes for 699 yards and thrown five touchdowns, with seven interceptions this season. He has tallied 38.6 fantasy points, averaging 7.7 points per game.
