As of October 2025, Charles Manning is a quarterback for the Texas Longhorns. He is currently in his sophomore season. He is Cooper Manning's eldest son. Manning was ranked No. 1 in the country by 247Sports, On3, and Rivals.
ESPN placed him No. 2 in the country, No. 1 among quarterbacks, and No. 1 in Louisiana overall. Prepstar named him to the Top 150 Dream Team and the nation's top recruit. With a 34-9 record, he started all four of his seasons.

Arch Manning College Career
Manning made his Longhorn debut in the triumph over Texas Tech in 2023 and played in two games as a true freshman.
He played in 10 games as a redshirt freshman in 2024, including two starts, and made an appearance against Colorado State in the season opener. He scored a touchdown and gained 95 yards on five of six passes. On the day, he scored two touchdowns. On a five-yard pass to wide receiver Silas Bolden, Manning got his first passing touchdown of his career.

Manning attended New Orleans' Isidore Newman School for his high school football career. With 2,509 yards and 34 touchdowns at the end of his rookie campaign, Manning was named the MaxPreps National Freshman of the Year.
During his senior year in 2022, Manning captained the Newman football team. Manning broke his uncle Eli's Newman record of 7,268 career passing yards and his uncle Peyton's Newman record of 93 career touchdowns after throwing for 356 yards and seven touchdowns in their 59–7 victory over Pearl River.
