Early Life and Career

Casey Cameron O'Neill was born in Irvine, Scotland, and trained in kickboxing from the age of four under her father, a professional kickboxer. At 10, she moved with her family to the Gold Coast, Australia, and began training in Brazilian jiu-jitsu at 13.

She competed in her first amateur MMA fight at 15 but was defeated. She trained for two years and returned to the amateur circuit at 19, winning five consecutive fights before turning professional at 21.

In 2019, O'Neill moved to Phuket, Thailand, to train at Tiger Muay Thai gym. She won her professional debut at the Eternal MMA 43 event and secured three more wins domestically before winning her first fight overseas at the UAE Warriors 13 event in September 2020.

Casey O’Neill’s Career in UFC

Casey Cameron O'Neill made her UFC debut on 20 February 2021 at UFC Fight Night: Blaydes vs. Lewis and won with a second-round knockout victory over Shana Dobson. She then faced Lara Procópio on 19 June 2021 at UFC on ESPN: The Korean Zombie vs. Ige, winning the bout in the third round via rear-naked choke.

On 2 October 2021, O'Neill faced Antonina Shevchenko at UFC Fight Night: Santos vs. Walker and won via technical knockout in the second round, earning the Performance of the Night award.

She faced Roxanne Modafferi on 12 February 2022 at UFC 271, winning the fight via split decision, although one judge's scorecard received criticism. O'Neill was scheduled to face Jessica Eye on 2 July 2022 at UFC 276, but withdrew due to a torn ACL and was replaced by Maycee Barber.

She lost her fight against Jennifer Maia on 18 March 2023 at UFC 286 via a unanimous decision.
