Pokemon GO's Dual Destiny update brought a new loading screen to celebrate the new winter season. Through it, Niantic has revealed their plans for the near future of the mobile game. This includes the addition of two popular lines of creatures from the most recent regions in the franchise.In this loading screen, an avatar being delivered presents by a Corviknight being piloted by a Pikachu and a Dedenne — who also appears to be in a costume. Additionally, the player avatar in the loading screen can be seen alongside a Dachsbun. Both Corviknight and Dachsbun have yet to be brought to Pokemon GO, so their debut cannot be too far away.Dachsbun and Corviknight lines are soon to be added in Pokemon GOHere is a post from The Pokemod Group showcasing the new loading screen:As of December 2, 2024, Niantic has yet to confirm release dates for both the Corviknight and Dachsbun line of creatures. However, when they make their way to live servers, players will likely need to evolve them from their base forms. Dachsbun evolves from Fidough, while Corviknight evolves from Corvisquire, who evolves from Rookidee.Also read: Pokemon GO Evolution calculatorGiven Niantic's formula for certain evolutions and tiers of creatures, players will likely need to collect 125 Rookidee candies to fully evolve one into Corviknight. As for Fidough, it will evolve with just 50 candies. Both of these creatures are known for their strong defensive bulk, so they will likely be popular choices among trainers who participate in Pokemon GO Battle League.These are some of the creatures Niantic intends on adding in the near future (Image via Niantic)Corviknight in particular is a very interesting creature to see come to Pokemon GO. While it was going to be added eventually, Corviknight is seen as a direct upgrade to Skarmory, who has been a menace in the competitive scene since its debut. Knowing this, it is likely to soar in popularity among those who enjoy the Great League.
