Pokemon GO Charged Embers Hatch Day: Date & time, event bonuses, and more

Pokemon GO Charged Embers Hatch Day is the final such event of 2024. Taking place later this week, it will focus on two Baby Pokemon and involve event bonuses for hatching eggs. Additionally, there will also be a paid Timed Research questline, which provides an extra event bonus along with a set of in-game rewards.

Pokemon GO Charged Embers Hatch Day event overview

Date & time and event bonuses

Charged Embers Hatch Day takes place on Sunday, December 29, 2024, from 2 PM local time to 5 PM local time. The event bonuses are:

2× Candy from hatching Eggs.
You’ll have an increased chance of hatching Shiny Elekid and Shiny Magby!
Increased chance of receiving 2 km Eggs from spinning PokéStops.

Extended event bonuses will last from Friday, December 27, at 10 AM local time to Sunday, December 29, 2024, at 5 PM local time. They are:

1/2 Egg Hatch Distance when Eggs are placed into Incubators during this time.

Featured Pokemon

Trainers will get to encounter Elekid and Magby more frequently as 2 km egg hatches. The shiny chances for these encounters will also be boosted.

Timed and Field Research

Event-themed Field Research tasks will be available for trainers to pick up. The rewards are Stardust and XP. An Event Bundle costing 925 PokeCoins will be available, providing five Incubators, five Super Incubators, and two Lucky Eggs.

Trainers can also purchase an Ultra Hatch Box from the GO Web Store during the event. It will cost US$19.99 and provide 15 Super Incubators, 10 Incubators, and five Poffins.

A Charged Embers Hatch Day paid Timed Research will be available to players during the event. This event-exclusive Timed Research will cost US$1.00 and the following bonus:

2x Hatch Stardust

The announcement revealed that trainers will have to walk 2 km and hatch an egg to earn Star Piece, Super Incubator, and 2500 XP from this Timed Research on Charged Embers Hatch Day.
