Pokemon GO Holiday Part 2: Date & time, event bonuses, and more

With 2025 just days away, Pokemon GO Holiday Part 2 continues the festive celebrations in Niantic's mobile title. The event will see the debuts of two new costumed Pokemon. It also features a wide variety of wild encounters, Incense encounters, and raid bosses that trainers have a chance to catch while participating in the event.

In this article, we have detailed all the available information regarding the ongoing event in Pokemon GO.

Pokemon GO Holiday Part 2 event overview

Date & time and event bonuses

Holiday Part 2 runs from Sunday, December 22, 2024, at 10 am local time to Friday, December 27, 2024, at 8 pm local time. The event bonuses offered are as follows:

2× XP from catching Pokémon.
50% more XP from Raid Battles.

Pokemon debuts

Holiday attire wearing Woloo (shiny encounter available) and a Dubwool sporting holiday attire are debuting in-game with this event. You can evolve the former to get the latter with the help of 50 Wooloo Candy.

Field Research, Timed Research, and Collection Challenges

Event-themed Field Research tasks and Collection Challenges are available for trainers to participate in. They can also purchase the Holiday Part 2 Timed Research quest to get their hands on an in-game Wooloo Jacket.
