Apratim has been an ardent football fan since the 2002 FIFA World Cup. At the club level, he is a massive Arsenal fan. His admiration for the Gunners grew because of Arsene Wenger's philosophy.

Despite being an Arsenal fan, Apratim's favorite player is Cristiano Ronaldo. He also enjoyed watching Robin van Persie and Michael Ballack.
