
Chloe Kim is an American snowboarder. Kim made headlines at the 2015 X Games at the age of 14 by defeating Kelly Clark to win the superpipe and become the youngest-ever champion. She won gold at the X Games the following year. She holds two halfpipe world titles and six Winter X titles, all in SuperPipe.
Kim made history at the 2016 U.S. Snowboarding Grand Prix by becoming the first female snowboarder to perform consecutive 1080 spins. With an incredible score of 98.25 points, 10 points more than her closest competitor, she won Olympic gold in the halfpipe at the 2018 PyeongChang Olympics. She retained her title emphatically in the 2022 Beijing Olympics. Kim was also listed as one of the 100 Most Influential People by Time magazine in 2018. Kim received two consecutive Laureus World Action Sportsperson of the Year awards (2019–2020). Kim's inclusion on the Madame Tussauds Hot 100 list in 2025 acknowledged her as a cultural icon.
