Evan Bates is an American ice dancer. He is the only figure skater from the United States to have competed in four Olympics. He was trained by ice dancing instructors Yaroslava Nechaeva and Yuri Chesnichenko.
One of the most successful ice dance teams in American history was formed in 2011 when Bates and Chock joined forces. The two have won multiple gold medals and championship titles and are well-known for their accomplishments at the Olympics and world championships.

Evan Bates has 19 senior gold medals and one junior gold medal. He won a gold medal in the 2022 Olympics, which is the highlight of his career so far. Apart from the Olympic gold, he has won 3 gold medals in the World Championships and 6 gold medals in the US Championships.
