Dubrovich has a silver medal in the team event at the 2022 World Fencing Championships in Cairo and a bronze medal in the team event at the 2019 World Fencing Championships in Budapest. A graduate of Columbia University with degrees in Psychology, Human Rights, and Russian Literature and Culture, she was a winning member of their top-ranked fencing team.

Brian Kaneshige's Early Life

Brian Kaneshige was born and raised in Maplewood, New Jersey. He attended Columbia High School, where his passion for fencing began to take shape. His sister, Christina, who was also a foil fencer at the University of Pennsylvania, introduced him to the sport.

He won his first major event, the Cadet event in the Paris Fencing Marathon, in February 2010. This victory set him on the path to becoming a professional fencer.

Brian Kaneshige is a fencing coach. He joined New York University as a men's and women's assistant fencing coach in October 2022. In his first season, he coached the Violets to a 17th-place finish at the NCAA Championships.

He gained recognition as a coach when both the men's and women's squads were cited as the United States Fencing Coaches Association (USFCA) Division III Teams of the Year. He is also developing athletes with the New Jersey Fencing Alliance.

In an interview with Hoboken Girl in 2019, Jackie mentioned, "My boyfriend and I have lived in Hoboken for almost two years, but we were both born and raised in New Jersey, so Hoboken was a natural fit for us when we decided to move in together".

Their professional partnership began more recently. In 2021, when Brian did not qualify for the men's Olympic team, they decided to work together, with Brian becoming Jackie's coach. This decision wasn't taken lightly. Jackie shared with NBC Philadelphia, "We had to think long and hard about the decision to mix our personal and professional lives, but so far the partnership has been successful".
