Serena Deeb is a proficient wrestler and yoga instructor from the United States, currently endorsed by All Elite Wrestling (AEW). Under the moniker Serena, she wrestled for Florida Championship Wrestling and ECW (Extreme Championship Wrestling). Additionally, she competed in Shimmer Women Athletes and Ohio Valley Wrestling, winning their Women's Championship six times. In January 2010, Serena debuted on WWE's main roster as part of CM Punk's Straight Edge Society, shaving her head as part of the initiation. Deeb showcased Rosa's skills leading up to her All-Out match with Hikaru Shida. Deeb officially signed with AEW on September 22nd after debuting on September 2nd. Later, Serena competed in the AEW Women's World Title Eliminator Tournament against Riho, and defended her NWA Women's title against Red Velvet successfully, but lost it to Kamille at When Our Shadows Fall. She turned heel by attacking Hikaru Shida on October 6 and lost to her in a rematch in the AEW TBS women's championship tournament. Despite this, she continued dominating, earning the nickname "the professor" and hosting a "5 minute rookie challenge." After a fourteen-month hiatus due to seizures, she returned, defeating Robyn Renegade on Collision and earning the number one contender spot for the AEW Women's Championship by defeating Mariah May on Dynamite.
