Alec Bohm Walk-Up Song
Alec Daniel Bohm

Alec Daniel Bohm is a standout third baseman currently making his mark with the Philadelphia Phillies in Major League Baseball (MLB). Born on August 3, 1996, in Omaha, Nebraska, he is the son of Dan and Lisa Bohm and grew up there alongside his younger brother. He began his baseball career as a student-athlete at Roncalli Catholic High School, where he was named an All-Nebraska player by the Omaha World-Herald and also helped to clinch the Connie Mack World Series during his senior year.

Following his high school education, Alec enrolled at Wichita State University, where he and outfielder Greyson Jenista earned the nickname "The Bash Brothers" for their outstanding performances. He later secured a spot on Team USA's 28-man roster for the 2019 WBSC Premier12 Championship and the 2020 Summer Olympics. Shortly thereafter, on August 13, 2020, he made his MLB debut for the Phillies, replacing the injured Adam Haseley.

What is Alec Bohm’s Walk-Up Song?

Alec Bohm currently uses Kanye West's "Famous" as his walk-up song, a track from the renowned album The Life of Pablo. The song gained significant attention during the 2022 MLB Playoffs, where it was recognized as one of the most popular walk-up tracks, according to Billboard. It fits him flawlessly when he steps onto the field, accompanied by the woman's voice echoing the catchy chant "Bam Bam," which strikingly resembles his last name, "Bohm." However, the specific date Alec started using it remains undisclosed.

Alec has also incorporated "Nuthin' but a 'G' Thang" by Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg into his his walk-up track, as reported by CBS News. Originally released in 1992, the track gained renewed popularity after being featured in the 2015 blockbuster film Straight Outta Compton. Unfortunately, similar to the situation with his other walk-up song, "Famous," the exact date he began using this track is not accessible on the web.
