Better known as Bobby Witt Jr., he is the son of former MLB player Bobby Witt Sr. Witt Jr. and was considered as one of the top prospects heading into the 2019 MLB draft. He was drafted as the second overall pick by the Kansas City Royals in the 2019 MLB Draft and he eventually made his MLB team debut on April 27, 2022, with the Kansas City Royals.
