Byron Keiron Buxton is an American professional Major League Baseball Player. He plays the position of a center fielder and designated hitter. Currently, he is playing for the Minnesota Twins in the MLB.

He attended the Appling County High School in Baxley, Georgia, and was among the most talented players there. Byron not only had talent for baseball but also played basketball and football during high school.

Byron was selected in the 2012 MLB draft by the Minnesota Twins. He was selected in the first round and was the second overall pick. He played in the Minor Leagues from 2012 to 2014. He finally debuted his MLB career with the Twins in 2015. He has been with the same team ever since. Byron was an All-Star in 2022 and in 2017, he won the Gold Glove Platinum Glove Award.
