Pedro Orlando Grifol is a former manager in Major League Baseball (MLB) as of 2024. He served as the manager of the Chicago White Sox for the 2023 and 2024 seasons. He gained experience from his high school, college, and minor league baseball careers with the Minnesota Twins and New York Mets. Since then, he has used the experience to serve as a director of minor league operations for the Seattle Mariners. He later worked with them in many roles such as hitting, catching, and being the right-hand of the managers (bench coach) for the Kansas City Royals. Notably, he also won the MLB World Series with the team in 2015.

Pedro Grifol left the Kansas City Royals in 2022 and was later announced as the new manager of the Chicago White Sox after former manager Tony La Russa retired due to heart complications. He led the team in the games for two seasons in 2023 and 2024. Unfortunately, he was fired by the Chicago White Sox on August 8, 2024, after the team achieved a 21-game losing streak, which led to the worst baseball record of the modern era by a team.
