Apart from this, he was also the MLB Rookie of the Year in 1947 and NL MVP in 1949. He was a two-time leader in the NL for stolen bases in 1947 and 1949. Robinson achieved a batting average of .311 with 137 home runs, 734 RBI, 197 stolen bases, .409 OBP, and .883 OPS. He was inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame in 1962.
